Instructions
Ingredients
Take the paneer cubes in a zip lock bag and add all the remaining ingredients to it.
Close the zip lock bag and shake and mix all the ingredients together to marinate the paneer properly.
Refrigerate the marinated paneer for at least 30 mins. You can even refrigerate it overnight.
Arrange the paneer on the skewers.
Grill them over the barbecue till they are slightly brown. rotate them after couple of minute to avoid burning.
If you are doing it over a griddle or tava, heat up the pan and brush it with oil. Place the marinated paneer over it and cook till brown from all sides.
Dont throw away the remaining marinade or pour it over the paneer while cooking.
Drizzle it on top of grilled paneer before serving, this gives paneer the perfect flavor.
Notes
If you don't have honey you can replace it with regular sugar or brown sugar.
Sugar also gives nice caramelization while grilling.
Do not cut the paneer cubes too small or they will break while putting it on skewers.
If you don't have zip lock bag use a bowl to marinate.
If you like lemony flavor you can enhance it by adding a teaspoon of lemon zest to marinade.
