Quick, Best ever, and easy homemade brownies that come together in just one bowl and in just a few minutes. Rich, fudgy, gooey, decadent Brownies with a beautiful crackle top and chocolate chips are absolutely delicious and totally enticing. So much better than the box mix and so very easy too that you will never reach for a box mix ever.
Grease an 8x8 square pan with oil and parchment paper at the bottom and sides of the pan.
Sift the ¾ cup all-purpose flour, 1 ½ cup granulated sugar, ½ cup powder sugar, ⅔ cup dark cocoa powder, and ¾ teaspoon salt in a bowl.
In a big bowl whisk together 2 eggs, ½ cup oil, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, and 2 tablespoon water.
Add the dry sifted ingredients to the wet ingredients along with ½ cup of chocolate chips and mix it all together to make a thick sticky batter.
Pour the batter into the previously prepared baking pan and top it with ¼th cup of chocolate chips.
Bake the brownie for 40-45 minutes or till the toothpick comes out with a little crumb or stickiness on it.
Get the pan out of the oven let it cool down completely and then take it out of the pan
Let the brownie cool down completely before cutting it into pieces.
Store the brownies in an airtight container. It will stay good at room temperature for up to 3 to 4 days and in the refrigerator for a week. You can also freeze it for a month.
Notes
Make sure you line the pan with parchment paper on the bottom as well as sides. This is very important, I have made the blunder of not putting parchment paper on the sides, and then removing the brownie from the pan was a nightmare.
Always sift the dry ingredients for lumps.
Measure all the ingredients before you start making the easy homemade brownies.
You could add a teaspoon of instant coffee for added flavor.
Do not over bake the brownie. The screwer is not supposed to come out clean. It should have some crumbs or stickiness on it at the time you take the pan out of the oven.
Let it cool off completely before cutting it into pieces.
